Ingredients

1
baguette (or other oblong bread roll (about 300g).)
1
ripe tomato
1⁄4
cucumber

herbal salt (to taste)

pepper to taste (optional - black pepper used)

mustard (and or other stuff of choice, like mayonnaise, ketchup & so on)

Salami (about 100g)

Instructions

As said this was quickly done away from a kitchen ...

  • Slice the tomato and cucumber
  • Slice the baguette oblong on one side so one side acts as some form of hinge. You could also completely separate them.
  • Spread some mustard over one side and add the tomato and cucumber slices.
  • sprinkle (herbal) salt, pepper
  • That is all

Enjoy!

Bread can be eaten in many other ways & not just for breakfast with "butter or margarine" & jam, like in many countries.
This is good also for picnics or simply to carry along as quick meal at work. One does not always have to go buy something "hot" and freshly cooked in Kikuubo.
Lastly, if you have no baguette, simply use "normal" bread to make a sandwich ...

And ... if bread is not available, how about chapati? Simply fold the above ingredients into one or 2 ...
