UGANDA WILDLIFE AUTHORITY HAS LOWERED GORILLA PERMIT PRICES
Informed reached this correspondent last week that the Uganda Wildlife Authority would be lowering the prices of gorilla tracking permits during the month of November to both East African residents and foreigners.
The announcement of the offer coincides with the Uganda Golden Jubilee celebrations of independence. The move is welcomed by tourists and the tourism fraternity at large who will get an opportunity to enjoy mountain gorilla trekking at a subsidised price in Uganda national parks which ranks among the absolute highlights of African travel experience.
The promotional prices apply for visitors wishing to track gorillas within the months of November 2012, April 2013 and May 2013.The discounted Uganda Gorilla permit prices are as shown below;

Gorilla tracking permits are valid for one walk per day.
