Return of mountain gorillas

Submitted by admin on October 6, 2011 - 19:01

I found this nice video on Youtube and as you will note, it has some good news about those very close relatives. In spite of all the current pressures, including population pressure, loss of habitat, location in a partly unstable region, especially on the Congolese side, the numbers of these apes has slowly but noticeably increased.

How to Have Healthy Afro Hair

Submitted by bambi75 on June 15, 2011 - 19:53
Afro hair is naturally carried out by black people. Each strand of hair grows in a tiny, spring-like corkscrew shape, eventually forming an afro. Although, it can be hard to comb through and is easily tangled.

Steps

  1. Moisturise the scalp regularly. Use natural oil based cream to prevent dryness and scalp conditions such as dandruff. Look for moisturises that contain oils such as olive and jojoba for best results. Apply adquate amounts of moisturiser without over saturating the hair and scalp. Your hair and scalp should have a healthy luster without appearing greasy.

How to Comb an Afro

Submitted by bambi75 on June 15, 2011 - 19:42
Those with naturally afro textured or kinky hair may feel overwhelmed by it. But handling an afro is not difficult if you use a little patience and work with it. Here's how.

Steps

  1. Choose whether dry or wet works best for you. This technique can be used on dry hair, but many people find that it may be best to work with your hair while it's wet or damp. If you do this with dry hair, make sure it's moisturized and/or oiled first and be gentle with it.
  2. Wet your hair by either washing it or spraying it with water from a spray bottle.
